The year that 'Shores of Time' was introduced, I'd ordered several other plants from the Stamiles but not this one. However, Pat sent it as a bonus with a note that I should grow this one, as it was one of his best that year, so it got planted in a special place ( and its still there!) and I always noted its performance, thinking, if Pat thinks this is a good plant, it surely must be. It has proven itself over the years and has made a huge clump. I don't think I've divided it since it got here, my goodness how time passes. The color here ( usually I photograph early AM) is usually the deeper pink like Greg Bogard's images above when I photograph it. Good bud count, good scapes, blooms open well here, and although pink, the shade of pink is unique. Love this one - a worthy garden plant in this climate!
