I think my thermometer showed it was about 40 for a low and in the heated one it dropped into the 50's so that should be good enough for my orchids. Hasn't hurt them so far anyway. It is a lot of fun. This will be our 7th one. We can only afford one a year and Dec is the best time to go to Mexico in our opinion since it's warm there but not hot.
