Forestlake Ragamuffin is a true dormant here in the subtropics. I have had it four years and it has increased but the clump never looks vigorous. This is not helped by the fact that it is a rust bucket with a score of about 5.

So far it has always come back above ground in late winter and flowered well, usually beginning in the last week of October or first week of November. I have never been able to set pods on it but it is very pollen fertile.

The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
