I have had this plant since 2007. I have never divided it once. It is a slow grower in my zone. I will keep it because it was the first plant I got that had teeth and I use it a lot in hybridizing. Like Lisa said, it is short. I prefer them to be taller. I have had good success setting pods on it and pollen is very fertile. We have had some brutal winters and it doesn't seem to mind. Never have mulched it.

A couple of seedlings. The second one with teeth is my favorite, although it decided not to bloom this year.
