This fall and early winter have been exciting when you like good garlic! I received 6 varieties of garlic from drdawg early in the fall and it has been amazing experience! The bulbs range from softly mild to bold/hot. So far I haven't tried two of the varieties because they have the longest storage times. A couple of nights ago I made a big pot of chili so in went 4 cloves of White Polish garlic. I taste tested it before using and my eyes bulged from the heat! However, it was great in the chili and gave it a big full taste that prior batches lacked. How can I ever go back to grocery store insipid garlic after tasting gourmet, heirloom garlics.
