Patti, I can't grow garlic myself--my climate is too warm. I live on an Central FL barrier island and it does limit me.
Drdawg is very kind because I asked for a selection of garlic. It's called be careful for what you ask. My husband has hugely enjoyed the experiments. The chili I'm currently making is Chasen's Chili. If you google it, the recipe will appear. It's popular. Because we don't eat much meat, I cut the meat back to 1 lb. good ground beef and increase the beans. The works for us. Add a pot of cornbread and it's called dinner.
