Gardenbug01 said:Hi my name is Susie. I have an addiction to daylilies ! The daylily bug bit hard this spring when I needed to widen my existing daylily bed. No problem. I planted about 25 new plants. Then it hit. I needed more and then more, I replaced the bearded iris bed with daylilies and then put in a third bed. Overall I put in a little over 100 new plants this year. I need more room for the babies I have coming in the spring ! As well as the seedlings that I have growing under lights. My advice - stay away from the LA, AHS and cancel your membership to your local club. And stay away from any hybridizer friends as they are enablers Lol Maybe I could take some rows from the vegetables and consider digging up the roses......

i understand your problem but hope u don't dig up your roses and veggie patch. Would it end the problem? It might cause conflict with others?? I think we r chasing rainbows. Awareness of a problem is the most important step to solving it. I wish u well.
This pic is of a LEMON YELLOW, an old cultivar. I almost lost it from not being able to care for it. I would not be able to buy it again. It has a distinctive fragrance. It is still amid weeds.
