I don't want to discourage anyone from giving great ideas, such as is happening in this thread, but I wanted to say that I have some ideas on improving this system, but I'm not ready to do anything with it yet. For right now, I'm not going to add any extra layers to the forum system.
But we will have some ideas coming at some point in the future.
