I have ~ 20 or so seedlings from 2 " or so to 10" or so in my nursery area potted and covered with ~ 8 " of leaves and brome hay. I did not sink them this year - will see how they do. In the past I have always sank the pots.

I have a huge deck planter in the same area on which I tossed ~ 30 seeds.
