I just think it's wonderful that he has an interest in plants at all! I haven't found too many young kids that are interested in gardening, even when they have good examples at home.
I'm also in the "golden years" and love my flowers. Their beauty excites me daily. I do grow a few things like a salsa garden with tomatoes, onions, peppers and cilantro. I have to have my salsa! Smiling
