He's not much younger than me, grew up on the family farm. Smart, but not allowed to further his education because only one child was allowed to continue. He was to remain to help parents with the farm.
He can come here on visa, but not allowed to stay. Then his wife may come, but also must return. SIL's parents have the same drill, but come together. Not sure why.
BTW, I spent most summers in Roswell when I was growing up!
