Neal, this is my own experiment, hoping the smell of the oil will keep the critters away. I use 2 tbs Neem oil per gallon of water, and I sprayed the ground over where the bulbs are planted, and then the pine bark mulch I place over them. I spray every few days in the areas where the bulbs aren't protected by the landscape mesh. I'll let you know how it goes with the Neem oil.

Planting 2000 bulbs is a lot of work, and I'm right there with you. Spring is going to be spectacular next year Smiling !
