Wow, that was a blast from the past. Almost a year ago. I've been researching on and off...
Since our "regular" Dogwood are susceptible to disease I was looking for either Cornus kousa 'Miss Satomi' or just 'Satomi" or the C. kousa var. chinensis as both have (somewhat) edible fruit and are said to grow reliably. The seeds were to be sent to a friend...but that's on hold for now.

I'm in the middle of moving house at the moment so next year sounds perfect. Thanks!
