Looks like aphids to me, but they look alive in some of those photos, are they moving around?
But, for sure it is something other than aphids eating holes that big and deep, all the way through the leaf. Maybe snails or slugs? Grasshoppers? Anything like that around at this time of year?
The spiders could be feeding on the aphids?
