Yes, but I have never had any communication with them. I don't even know how to contact them. My grandfather & his brother came over when my grandfather was around 20. They came through Ellis Island where, as usual, the last name was changed because of spelling & pronunciation. My grandfather loved it & stayed but his brother did not like it & went back. My aunt here went over to see our relatives there years ago. Daddy was born in Wisconsin and mom was born in Alabama & we lived in FL. In those times it was difficult to go all the way to Wisconsin to visit my dad's side of the family. We could not afford to fly a family of 5. In my childhood, we drove up there twice & Grandmother & grandfather drove down here once. Grandmother was dutch too but it was her parents who came over from "the old country" & settled in Michigan. I remember daddy mentioning a place --- I don't know how to spell it -- daddy pronounced it sky-ak.
