That's what I use, as weel. The "Bayer Long Season Grub Control", in the liquid form. I, too, apply early (mid March), but I re apply in July (as soon as bloom is finished).....except the re bloomers don't get the "second dose". I haven't had a borer problem for a long time.....and don't want one
