Pickering and Hortico were also good sources at one time, and theirs were also grafted onto multiflora and grew into monsters, but Hortico's too unreliable now and Pickering stopped shipping to the United States. You probably could take a chance on own-root ones because the Austins are shrubs. It won't be like throwing your money away on own-root hybrid teas.
