That sounds like it was a lot of fun and very cool!

We have Eagles out here where I live. Though you have to be paying attention to see one. I had my closest viewing of one this past summer. I was driving along(country road) and one was taking off with a squirrel in its talons. I could see the beak and its eyes so clearly as it cleared my car just in front of my windshield!! We most often spot them flying over or maybe in a tree down by the dam on the lake I live at.
