We've had nice sunny bits down our way between the rain. I walked out by the ocean today, and it was a beautiful winter's day. There was a King tide, and the waves were outstanding. Probably 75 or so surfers out at Steamer Lane. All the hot shots were out.. fun to watch. I was able to get out in the garden for a bit this afternoon and fry a few weeds (so satisfying!) and pull a few dead leaves off some iris. It's nice to get them cleaned up down to those fresh little nubbins coming up.
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
