A very Blessed Christmas to you all. It will be a very quiet one here, with just my 2 sons and ddl and 2 kiddlebits. Just happy to have my husband home and on the mend so we can all be together. No baking, little decorating, still have to wrap the few gifts that we have for the family. Tomorrow it's ham and scalloped potatoes.

@Tallulah_B - no carrot pudding here either. I've never heard of anyone else that makes this or knows what it is, outside of my own relatives. I never thought of it as "poor man's pudding" because I've always liked it better than plum pudding. My mum put some candied fruit in hers too sometimes. It must be a Canadian prairies thing.
