Good idea. I have a pile of scrap lumber...where in the world did it come from? Well, we've been here 30 years and I think I actually moved a lot of this from my elderly neighbor's property years ago. I want it gone, especially since I know what plants I want in this spot. Probably cost about $500 by weight to get a dumpster in. Cannot safely burn here any longer. I'd seriously thought of burying it as the base of a berm, but didn't want to bring in dirt to cover it,either. We also have some stumps, etc. Now if I can find a suitable spot, I think I know where all that scrap lumber is going. Don't have loads of hay, but we're constantly shredding material from our trees and I'll start collecting cardboard, paper, etc.
Thanks
