The full moon on Christmas was gorgeous... we were at my husband's sister's house, which is right on L. Michigan; I tried to get a picture of it, but didn't have a tripod and didn't have the camera where I could adjust the shutter speed, so didn't work out so well.
Lin, shoveling is really fun... if we ever get some snow I'll invite you here and you can give it a try! (if you do a real good job with the shovel we might let you use the snowblower
) One year my BIL from Florida was visiting in late January and stayed at our house while we left for a weekend bowling tournament; we weren't expecting a snowstorm but got one anyway, and he was out snowblowing the driveway before we got home. What a trooper! (I think that was the same year that we had recently taken in a stray cat that ended up coming into heat just before we left... the "caterwauling" alone would have been bad, but then our husky would start howling as well

I'm still waiting to see what the weather is going to hit us with as a payback for all this time without snow; shoot, I've only had my heavy jacket out once so far! and haven't needed boots yet, at all
