Hi forum peeps. Annette my utmost sympathy with you having to redo your beds. As I watched the water encroach on my plants, I felt such despair. I had worked so hard taking back my yard from years of neglect.
ALL IS WELL! The river crested Mon night and even though water got around my beds it did not invade. Buncha rain today hopefully it won't be a problem.
One thing about a potential disaster, neighbors come out of the woodwork to help move things to higher ground. Yesterday the weather was nice and I dug up a mess of paperwhites. I think I'm going to clean them up and place them in bags on the fence. Hang a "free" sign, share the wealth with my sharing neighbors.
