My state is under emergency as well (we have > 20 deaths so far associated with the past weeks weather), but the worst is in the South and East. St. Louis could break the records set in 1993 floods. Locally, the Missouri river is cresting ~ 2 - 3 feet below worrisome levels. ~ 8 years ago, I worked for nearly a week making sand bags.
