MarilynS - I have a great appreciation of the physical appearance of the ATP website - so colorful and joyous. Best of all is the way the plant pictures can be opened to really see them in glorious detail and color. Maybe it means I am just shallow and dazzled by bling, but it makes the DG site seem so drab. Obviously some people really like that and they make comments about the "silly" emoticons, acorns, badges, etc. I am sorry they feel like that and perhaps they will change their minds at some point. I feel that if someone does not like to play with that stuff, they can just ignore it. It does no harm and gives pleasure to many . What is wrong with that in this drab world? Anyway I appreciate the graphics of this site and feel it could be a model for many other sites out there. Perhaps at some point (if they stay in business) DG would get a programmer who could learn from this (I bet they peek over from time to time to see the competition).
