I, too, was at DG for about ten years and regarded it as my cyber home. It is painful to watch it deteriorate. Coming to this thread is one of the ways I am dealing with the pain of losing it. More and more DG people are coming over here and trying to establish a new cyber home. Change is often difficult and painful. I know I will be losing some people who have been important to me. Some are already gone.

Karen, I know you are going through some medical problems and having this disruption sure doesn't help. One more stress. Know that your friends DG who are here are rooting for you as we all work to create a new home for ourselves. Please post where and whenyou can and know that there is no one here who wishes you ill. I sure wish there was a less painful way to get through this.

I saw the doctor yesterday. He was going to a town north of here and stopped in Mulege. I drove into town and met him across from the gas station. He listened to my heart and took my temperature while we stood on the sidewalk!! We both laughed about it being a "very Mexican experience." I really like him. He prescribed another antibiotic and told me to see him on Saturday. I talked to Tony today and he agreed to drive the 75 miles to the doctor's office in Loretto on Saturday. As usual, I was very uncomfortable this morning but have gradually felt better all day. I'm tired and was ordered to rest, rest, rest. Inky Dink the puppy has been going to neighbor Dana's to have doggy day care with her three little dogs but has been staying with me since I've been sick.

Wishing all of my friends here - old and new - the happiest of new years.
