It is frustrating Scott. I bought a camellia labeled as C. handellii at the American Camellia Society gardens but here on ATP that name is a synonym. It is referred to here as Camellia transarisanensisi. It seems to me we should be using the names the professional associations use. I know enough to look beyond but so many others using the data base do not and would find it confusing.
