Well said. I love surprises. Next year I will feed my DRs regularly for more blooms. I only had a couple that bloomed this year. I was a bad plant mommy, as I was away from home quite frequently. They were mostly on their own and survived by the grace of God. 
Fortunately, we get lots of rain here and I have fast draining soil. But, they need food in order to bloom.
