I thought I would chime in on the fertilizer topic. Last month I treated myself to a Aechmea Surprise from a seller on ebay. I have admired her broms for many years but her prices are a little steep for my budget. She has amazing stuff though. Huge healthy plants, and I have always been curious what her secret was. Well, she sent a care sheet with my purchase saying that she uses a product called Nutricote sold as Dynamite fertilizer at a 13-13-13. She said all the professional growers around there use that for such great results.
