The good news is that the first night is limited to 3 requests, so you don't have to worry that 'all of the good stuff will be gone' (although it's ALL good stuff, right?)...if something crazy happens the first night, you don't miss out on TOO much and it gives you a chance to figure out for the next night. Also, your tickets are still there until you use them and they DO ACCUMULATE...if you don't use your tickets right off the bat, they don't go away. Also, you can make requests at ANY TIME. (Sorry for the caps, it's just for people who are skimming to be able see.) What that means is that if you want to use your 3 tickets at 4 in the morning, you can. If you want to build them all up until the third day at noon, you can do that. You don't have to do everything right at 7pm EST, but I do encourage it if you can. :)
...I went in and changed the ticket multiplier to 4...which means that tomorrow you all should have 8 more tickets! That makes the breakdown for this swap the following number of tickets awarded...
Day 1: 3 tickets
Day 2: 8 tickets
Day 3: 12 tickets
Day 4: 16 tickets
Day 5: 20 tickets
Day 6: 24 tickets
Day 7: 28 tickets
Day 8: 32 tickets
Remember that trading ends at midnight on January 11, which is actually 7pm EST on January 10th. Make sure you have all of your seed requests in by then!
I'm going to change the max seed packets to 120--which, based on prior experience, is probably far more packets than most members will end up requesting anyway, but will atleast allow you to take in and provide a home for 120 packets if you would like--which means that, in theory*, if you use ALL of your tickets awarded EVERY day, you will actually have 9 remaining tickets on the last day.
* I say 'in theory' because it would only work out that way if no one requested any of your seeds. You'll notice that the more seeds you 'sell', the more bonus tickets (or fractions of bonus tickets, really) you earn, so the last day is really more of a 'catch up' day for anyone that maybe had to miss a couple of days, wanted to take time to think about their 'purchases', or wanted to scoop up whatever is left behind by others.
