My favorite radish is Minowase Daikon, even though mine were much too hot for me to eat, because they make lots of seed pods and then plow my clay for me:

...a little off-subject, but last week we downloaded all the hobbit movies with the extended edition and, over the period of two or the days, we watched all the hobbit movies the behind-the scenes stuff.

...good to know about the radish. We have very compacted, clay-like soil, so most of my planting is limited to the 4x4 gardening needs I have. ..which isn't much space. It's always nice to hear about things that can grow at all in clay soil, but even better to fond something useful in breaking it up! I'm not sites how I feel about having a yard full of too-spicy-to-eat radishes. Maybe I could try it with small patches at a time. Rolling my eyes.
