An old coworker told me this & I just tried it for Christmas dinner. I roasted potatoes, radishes, carrots & onions while the bird was in the oven. They keep their color but become very bland. Texture is like potatoes too. Honestly, no one could tell the difference. I may actually start growing radishes now.
