The 'extra' varies each night. The first night you get .5 tickets for each one you 'sell' but after that it tapers off. I don't memorize the fraction/decimal that each night is worth, but I do know that after the first couple of nights, it's pretty tough to earn a full bonus ticket, but by that point you are getting so many tickets given to you that it's not really necessary. That's the beauty of how it all works. The primary benefit to the bonus tickets, in my opinion, is to reward people who have listed great (i.e. popular) items so that they are able to get more dibs (better pick) early on as a result. There are some quirky inadvertent results that occur, so there is some strategy to it all as well, but overall the system rewards the people who have more attractive offerings.
