Yup, he certainly did... Fired and a few nasty bites and a law suit for the vet bills for injuries to both dogs. Justice is an animal lover.
It is like the old story about two men going before the same judge. The first fellow shot a man for insulting his wife. The judge fined him $50 and sent him on his way. The second fellow shot a cow. The judge sentenced him to a year in jail. When he protested and cited the first guy's crime, the judge smiled down at him and said "Feller, I ain't never met the cow that needed killing". Case closed.
