Thanks, Lin I think I'm going to start putting some 'additives' into my seed mix to see if more birds will appear. Peanut nuggets and mealworms, mmm. I've put out suet for the first time, a few weeks ago and nobody except the occasional wren has shown any interest in it. should I take it in and roll some seeds into it?

I do have great cover less than 10ft from my birdfeeders - a huge stand of 35ft. tall bamboo that the little birds feel very safe in, when the hawks are around.
