Keep in mind, the Mimosa can get quite large fairly quickly. We have (a Wilson Mimosa) one started in the kitchen in Feb 2011 and in a year it was ~ 3 ' tall and 3 " in diameter. It is now about 15 - 18 feet tall, 20 + feet wide and the trunk is ~ 8 inches in diameter.
