I agree with @Greene. Take cutting and start new plants.

The problem may be that the plant was so stressed with the potting soil problem, that it will take some time for those ill-affects to run their coarse. Starting cuttings will be your "emergency" plan in case the plant continues to decline.

By the way, Welcome! @Thughorse. When you have a moment , update your profile by clicking on the little "guy" in the upper left-hand column.
