Neal, I know that Monrovia carries several Hesperaloe parviflora varieties so you may want to check with nurseries that carry their brand about ordering. I've seen them sold locally on many occasions, including the 'Perpa'/"Brakelights" cultivar. You can also order directly from the Monrovia site if a nearby grower has them and can deliver to your local nursery. However, I've found that the price does tend to be higher than if the nursery was selling them. In any case, you'd likely end up with a big, established plant for the same price as a tiny mail-order one. Just a thought.
