We have Blue Racers up here. My grandmother once killed a forest rattler in her garden. She lived in a rural town next to the Illinois River, lots of forests around as well as rocky cliffs. The name of the town is 'Bluffs'...go figure...

Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
