I'm happy discussing any plants, any time.
Back when we had lots of water to spare, and fuchsia mites weren't a problem, I grew more of them. When I've had weddings here, I'll go to the wholesale nursery and buy some right out of the green houses at peak bloom. I've had some beautiful tree fuchsias that I usually give to someone in the wedding party. My garden is heavy on the spring bloom, so they add color through the summer. I probably lost several of the ones that I had in the ground from the drought this past year. I'd say that would be a shopping opportunity.
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
