We have the monthly threads so people don't have to look all over the place for "stuff"
I do think if you want people to see your posts, it is not a good idea to isolate yourself in separate threads unless you are truly trying to highlight something very different.
Heh, I wish everybody would "hijack" our bloom threads the way you might do!! I say, go for it.
