The cholla in this picture is not C. bigelovii - simple comparison to the other pictures in this database entry bears that out. I think there is a good chance it is C. imbricata.
The prickly pear (Opuntia) in the photo is Opuntia engelmannii var lindheimeri linguiformis aka O. lindheimeri linguiformis.
