Thanks, @Eric. I did horizontal EMTs during the original build and plan to put up one more going from the doors to the back wall. That is where I currently hang many plants, too. However, that still leaves that 2 feet of unused space in the gabled (that's the word you taught me during my build btw) area. I would love to put that 2 feet of space to use. I don't get as cold as most places. That area gets the most sun of course. Most of my Tropicals need shade. I thought putting my hanging pots of portulaca, bougainvillea that need a lot of sun up there would also help shade the plants down below. I am being told here that the frame won't hold 5 hanging plants. I am thinking if I erect, EMTs vertically, the "snow supports" from floor to ceiling, even though I don't get snow, that would support` the roof? But do I want to lose floor space for 5 hanging plants?? I have a LOT Of hanging plants!
