Sally, here are a couple of the cows the day of our sale. Not bad looking for a bunch of grades. (not registered).
In the first pic, the cow with the large udder had just freshened and still had quite a bit of edema. I didn't, as a rule, keep cows with udders like that AFTER they lost the swelling. They were a PITA to milk.
