I understand your pain Terese, my 'Regal Splash' that I bought last year from Foxfire came back this year with two eyes. One, the large eye, has zero streaking. The small eye is starting to unfurl and appears to have some streaking, but nothing like it was last year. I'll dig up both eyes after some more rain and divide out the solid eye, planting somewhere else in the yard. I guess I can add 'Regal Splendor' to my haves list, but I'm still salty because I REALLY LIKED 'Regal Splash'.
If hostas were stable, then there would not be thousands of cultivars
