I see by your profile that you live in Vienna. Does your plant live inside all the time or do you keep it out of doors during the warm months?
It's possible the plant is going dormant and in that case it would be normal for the new leaves to grow in progressively smaller. If it is an indoor plant it may need to be fertilized or may need more light. If the plant has recently come into the house it should perk up when the warm weather arrives and it is outside again.
