I first used the TP rolls as collars around my pepper plants last summer, to prevent damage from pests. I just checked on them, they're still intact, despite being exposed to the elements for over 6 months. I suspect the ones I used last weekend should last until the winter sown seedlings need to be planted out. Time will tell.
