That is a pretty good resource in my opinion. Databases being up-to-date depends on how quickly or slowly the Resource accepts new or changed Taxonomy -- some are very cautious and conservative, others are less so.

Then there are the ongoing inputs from Taxonomy and Field Researchers such as Taylor, Zappi, Robert Wallace, Braun, Esteves Pereira, David Hunt (The New Cactus Lexicon -- "Trichocereus - Echinopsis - Trichocereus") .......... and so on.

Following are popular online nomenclature resources:

The Plant List

The International Plant Names Index (IPNI)

International Organization for Plant Information (IOPI)

The Catalogue of Life (ITIS)

I use The Plant List for all my cacti nomenclature. I really like the nice way it displays synonyms, the names of the attributors and additional information.
