The scientific stuff is all foreign to me. I used to use ITIS and The Plant List for reference but a couple of years ago I began going by what the CoL listed because I was told it was the most updated reference.

We all want our All Things Plants database to be as accurate as possible; I'm not sure if we have a specific moderator for Cactus but I'll summon the three members I know of who are database moderators so they can read your comments/explanation and see if they think a change is in order for the listing of E. eyriesii (oxygona) @zuzu, @calif_sue, @eclayne
