I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Dog Lover Hostas
Fortunately, I still don't have any hostas up. The tiniest pips if I really inspect closely, but pips aren't usually damaged by cold and even snow--it's when the leaves unfurl that you have to worry about them getting frost damaged.

This bit of incoming cold weather sucks. I had planned to go to my favorite nursery tomorrow on opening day, but it's supposed to be cold and awful. It'll be the first opening day I've missed in a few years. Sad
